Justin Suttles is an independent writer and director of narrative features, shorts, and music videos. He attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, graduating in the Fall of 2014 with a Bachelors of the Fine Arts Degree in Film + Television. He is currently based on the East Coast, where he works closely with Lyrebird lead actor/co-writer Catherine Atkinson. Drawn to the visceral power of film as a vehicle for empathy, Justin’s dark and personal character studies have garnered critical and audience acclaim, his shorts landing on Omeleto three times over, and placing him on Source Creative’s “Directors to Watch” list. A lover of genre and interiority, Justin cannot wait to continue the journey of bringing Lyrebird to life.
